At Lutwyche Windsor Kindergarten we are very fortunate to have an expansive leafy, tree-lined outdoors space where children can explore nature, develop gross motor skills and play imaginatively.

The playground, (renovated in June 2021), was developed in collaboration with children and family input. A ‘tall’ tower, ‘wobbly bridge’, monkey bars, ‘fun’ slide and bike track were amongst the most popular ideas put forward!

We have developed positive relationships with our neighbours and are lucky enough to have access to Prentice Park soccer field for kite flying, rocket launching experiments as well as planned bike riding days or sports fun with parent helpers.

At Lutwyche Windsor Kindy we focus on Sustainability with community vegetable gardens, composting, worm farm and native bee hive.

​

Each year we include special guests, incursions and excursions to support and extend the program. Renata’s Healthy Superhero Show, African Drumming, Ocean Life, Bravehearts and Trevena Glen Farm visit to name a few. (We value parent input, and encourage families to share their talents, interests and stories with us too).

Storypark

Included in the fees is secure parent access to an online and interactive documentation program called Storypark.
